The new Bus Connects bus route plan gives Grange Manor a reduced service (Route 2B) compared to the existing 220 route. Not good news for anyone relying on the bus to get to school or out from the city later at night.
Key changes:
1. Longer Route (distance & time) to the city centre through Bishopstown
2. Less frequent (every 30 mins, 60 mins on Sundays)
3. Loss of 24hr service
Route 1 would service EMC/Dell but would terminate at that stop and the 1 additional stop of Grange Manor would be excluded. Route 1 would keep the 24hr service and would be more frequent.
Some residents have already been in touch with the Bus Connects people and local reps to enquire and complain about this.
No harm for everyone to do the same.
